The submission deadline is 26th May 2022, 11:59AM (noon). The final demo day are 28 or 29th May 2022,.

Eligibility

- Everyone is welcome to submit any ideas, each team (no minimum size, but a maximum of six) has at least half the team members who are: 

- Current student of a university (undergraduate or postgraduate)

- Recent alumni of the university ( graduate within the last two years)

- Early career researcher or postdoc at university 

- Faculty - Professor, lecturer or affiliated

Prizes

Open category:

Grand prize $8,000 x 1team,

First prize $3,000 x 1 team,

Second prize $1,500 x 2 teams,

Third prize $750 x 3 teams.

Bounty challenge (Physical science, Chemistry, Biology, Proteomics):

First prize $3,000 x 1 team,

Second prize $1,500 x 1 team,

Third prize $750 x 1team for EACH track

In addition, there will be dozens of Special Awards, $150 each.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

The judging session will be 5min team presentation and 5min Q&A. The judging criteria will be mainly based on originality, innovation, analytical skills, technology, practical implementation. The details will be released to the participating teams.
